Mercifully it’s also the backdrop for great spot of derring-do from Harry and co, as well as being a suitably malevolent locale for properly introducing Peter Mullan’s deliciously menacing Death Eater, Yaxley, to the series.



Not that Mullan is given much screen time. This time the action is focused almost exclusively on Harry, Hermione and Ron as they embark on a quest that takes them far away from Hogwarts. Sadly, it’s also here that the weaknesses in the film become apparent. Details of said quest introduce a dizzying array of references that require an intimate knowledge of Potter lore to decode, something that slows the film down too much and ironically ensures the final act feels a little rushed. Indeed it’s hard to escape the feeling that such pacing might work better when the film is eventually able to be seen as part of a double-bill. Still, if its total success can only be properly measured upon arrival of the conclusion in July, the fact that Part 1 makes that worth waiting for should be taken as some kind of victory. Avalon High is adapted from Meg Cabot’s (“The Princess Diaries”) book of the same title. If you read the book, you see she does a brilliant job incorporating lightheartedness with the mystery, combining all these different elements. The original Movie Avalon High aired on November 12th.



The screenplay writer did the same thing. There’s action, comedy, drama, romance and mystery. It’s got a little bit of everything. A few things are different from the books for time’s sake, working within the hour-and-a-half time constraints. But they did a brilliant job of adapting it.



The movie opens with a jousting match on the beach, but it turns out to just be a dream the main character, Allie Pennington, played by Brittany Robertson. Allie and her family have just moved and Allie will be attending Avalon High School where her parents are professors of Medieval Literature.



When Allie goes for a run she bumps into Gregg Sulkin’s character Will Wagner. Allie flashes to another day dream of herself offering a goblet of water to a Medieval Will. After she snaps to and walks away from him she turns back and he’s gone.



Will walks into school on Allie’s first day and saves his Miles (Joey Pollari) from being bullied by the character Marco, played by Devon Graye, who is actually Will’s step brother.



Will is the quarterback on the track team and he is dating Jen, (Molly C. Quinn) and his best friend is Lance (Christopher Tavarez).



All of the main characters end up in Mr. Moore’s class (Steve Valentine). They are assigned different topics about King Aurthur and his court. Allie is assigned to work with Miles, who shows up at her doorstep to work on their project that night even though it isn’t due for three weeks.

Mabes Polri sudah menangkap dua pelaku yang diduga terlibat dalam penyebaran film porno yang diduga diperankan Ariel-Luna Maya dan Ariel-Cut Tari. Salah satu penyebar video itu disebut-sebut tinggal di Surabaya, demikian detikhot memberitakan.



Kadiv Humas Mabes Polri Irjen Pol Edward Aritonang membenarkan penangkapan kedua pelaku penyebaran tersebut, namun beliau masih enggan menyebutkan identitas dan kronologis penangkapan kedua pelaku. Saat ini, kepolisian masih melakukan pemeriksaan intensif kepada kedua orang yang baru saja ditangkap tersebut.



Tetap belum ada kepastian siapa pemeran sebenarnya dalam kedua video tersebut, namun diperkirakan tak jauh melenceng dari dugaan masyarakat pada umumnya. Sebab, banyak ahli menyebutkan bahwa video rekaman tersebut asli dan tanpa adanya rekayasa. Besar dugaan, para pemain dalam video porno tersebut adalah benar-benar Nazriel Ilham alias Ariel, Luna Maya dan Cut Tari.



Setelah hasil pemeriksaan dilakukan analisis terhadap keterangan saksi ahli, data pembanding dan analisis barang bukti. Rencananya Kedua tersangka tersebut akan segera diumumkan kepada publik.

Belum hilang santernya berita kasus film Cowboys in Paradise, kini muncul sebuah video porno baru yang mengambil latar tempat di Pantai Kuta, Koreana. Video berdurasi 22 menit tersebut menampilkan adegan seks oral seorang wanita berwajah Indonesia dengan pria bule. Tidak hanya warga Bali, seluruh warga Indonesia kembali dihebohkan dengan munculnya film tersebut



Sang kamerawan, sekaligus aktor dalam film tersebut mengambil gambar suasana Pantai Kuta menggunakan kamera video. Di sana terlihat ribuan wisatawan tengah berlibur dan saat itu kebetulan tengah berlangsung sebuah kejuaraan selancar. Itulah gambaran film tersebut pada menit-menit awal.



Selanjutnya, muncul seorang wanita berwajah Indonesia. Wanita itu terlihat asik meminum bir di pinggir pantai sambil tertawa lepas. Bahkan wanita tersebut sempat membeli bakso pada pedagang kaki lima di kawasan Pantai Kuta.



Setelah adegan di pantai usai, muncul judul Koreana sebelum masuk ke adegan vulgar. Dalam adegan layak sensor tersebut, bintang utama wanita melakukan seks oral kepada pria bule yang terus merekam gambar di sebuah balkon hotel di Jalan Pantai Kuta. Seusai melakukan "tugasnya", wanita tersebut berucap, “Welcome to heaven,” dan kamera diarahkan ke Jalan Pantai Kuta.



Polda Bali saat ini tengah bertindak untuk menyelidiki pelaku penyebar video Koreana, Cowboys in Paradise 2.



Kabid Humas Polda Bali Kombes Gede Sugianyar Dwi Putra mengatakan bahwa tayangan film tersebut dibikin bukan profesional dan hanya merupakan dokumentasi pribadi.



Video ini sebenarnya sudah dibuat sekitar tahun 2003. Namun, penyebarannya baru marak belakangan ini.



Polsek Kuta dan Poltabes Denpasar selaku yang berwenag di wilayah tersebut juga sudah menyelidiki kasus ini.

Saat batas waktu hampir habis, Raka mendapat ancaman dari Romi (Rangga Djoned), salah satu anggota Gank Rentenir. Apabila Raka tidak mengembalikan uang berikut dengan bunganya sesuai tenggat waktu yang ditentukan, Helen akan dijadikan korban. Topan dan Raka akhirnya mencari uang dengan mencoba membobol ATM, pada saat itu Romi dengan Gank-nya memperkosa Helen.



Raka sangat terpukul melihat kondisi Helen yang menggenaskan, dan membawanya ke rumah sakit. Dengan setia Raka menerima, dan merawat Helen secara telaten. Diam-diam Raka yang terbakar dendam, mendatangi basecamp Romi untuk membalaskan dendamnya. Tapi malah Raka babak belur dihajar Romi beserta Gank-nya. Topan, Chanisa dan Helen juga diteror Romi, sehingga harus sembunyi sambil menunggu Raka. Setelah beberapa hari, Raka belum juga datang, akhirnya Topan menyusul. Kabar gembira buat para pecinta film fiksi sains Avatar yang ingin mengoleksinya dalam format DVD. Sejumlah adegan yang dipotong di format Bioskop nantinya dapat dinikmati di keping cakram DVD secara penuh, termasuk didalamnya adegan mesum seks Jake Sully dan Neytiri.



Menurut sutradara Avatar, James Cameron, ada sejumlah adegan yang dipotong dalam format 3 Dimensi yang ditayangkan di Bioskop-bioskop seluruh dunia. Namun itu takkan dilakukan di DVD.

"Kami telah memotongnya, sehingga nantinya akan ada sesuatu yang spesial di edisi DVD Avatar, termasuk anda akan melihat adegan seks Jake Sully dan Neytiri," ujar Cameron seperti dilansir Ananova, Rabu (13/1/2010).

Adegan seks DVD Avatar antara Sully dengan Neytiri tak jauh berbeda yang diawali dengan proses 'Synching'. Proses tersebut merupakan proses komunikasi dengan cara menyambungkan rambut avatar dengan flora dan fauna.



Adegan seksual Sully dan Neytiri sengaja dipotong pada versi 3D, mengingat film tersebut sengaja ditujukan untuk segmen keluarga.



Avatar mencetak rekor dengan menembus angka USD1,3 miliar atau Rp11,8 triliun. Api cemburu memang sering membuat orang berbuat nekat. Hal ini dialami sendiri oleh aktris kawakan Suti Karno, akibat api cemburu ia terlibat pembunuhan. Tak tanggung-tanggung, setelah dibunuh korbannya pun dimutilasi dan diceburkan ke dalam septic tank sekolah.

"Sudah lama sekali saya tidak terlibat, baik dalam sinetron maupun film. Ini menantang," ujar Suti.



Tokoh yang diperankan tidak mudah ditebak oleh penonton. "Saya kan komedian. Kata sutradara enggak boleh kelihatan galak. Jadi, orang kan enggak akan terka dari awal saya pembunuhnya," ujar Suti.
